As the spring skiing and riding season kicks in, the freestyle terrain park facilities have moved to a new level at Aomori Spring Resort, and another exciting development is happening behind the scenes. A brand new Prinoth Bison X snow groomer with automatic winch, is heading our way. This is part of an agreement between our terrain park and halfpipe building and design contractor, Development Snowparks and renowned European snow groomer manufacturer, Prinoth.

The agreement cements a three-way relationship between Prinoth, Development Snowparks and Aomori Spring and furthers our commitment to providing high quality freestyle facilities. The Bison X will be used with Development Snowpark’s own patented halfpipe shaping technology, the Global Cutter and for building and maintenance of the terrain park at Aomori Spring.

The success of the partnership between Development Snowparks and Prinoth is already evident, as seen in this project in Japan last year:

New Bison X in Japan

“The team will be working on developing and upgrading Aomori’s freestyle facility with the new Bison X in conjunction with the Global Cutter and aim to make Aomori a world class Olympic athlete training facility. With the partnership, we can foster our success with the new Bison X also in Japan”, explains Taro Girardi, Area Sales Manager at Prinoth.

“We are extremely proud to be partnered with such an established brand such as Prinoth. We are looking forward to working together on high profile projects throughout the Asia Pacific region partnering the new Bison X with the Global Cutter. It is a long term goal that has come to fruition for myself and the team to be running the finest freestyle equipment”, says Development Snowpark’s CEO John Melville about the cooperation.

“The first snow cat I ever drove was a Prinoth and it has since always been the snow groomer of choice for a freestyle application. With its high torque output it is ideal for pushing large quantities of snow and the tiller always produces the best finish. It’s interior comfort and features add to it being the superior snow groomer of choice.” adds John Melville.
