Opening week at Aomori Spring was one to remember – plenty of powder and soft piste skiing as well as blue skies. We finished the week with close to a one metre snow depth at base with almost three metres of accumulated snowfall for the season!

Snow for Christmas
But that’s not all, folks. We have moderate-heavy snow forecast throughout next week, starting Monday, Christmas Day! What more could you ask for on Christmas?
What’s in store this week?
As well as bucket loads of snow, we have a few other exciting updates to come:
- Night skiing on Quad 1 begins Friday 22 December. Quad 1 is open till 9pm every night except Thursdays
- Quad 2 on the western side of the mountain is opening Saturday 23 December
- Kids Snowland opens Saturday 23 December. Snowland offers cool kids activities such as tubing, mini snowmobiling and a bouncy castle!
- Development Snowparks have started construction on the 22ft halpipe and terrain park.
